It was Jake's first day of dental school yesterday (well, actually he has three days worth or orientation then school starts...but anyway) and we're so excited!

He had his free breakfast and a bunch of people talked that he's already talked to so there wasn't a whole lot going on at first. The Armed Forces came and talked to everyone and gave them a bunch of free stuff and they picked up their scrubs, name tags, and cards to get around the new building. Pretty exciting stuff!
It's weird that he's officially a dental student, it seems like it has taken us so long to finally get here. A trip of about two years (and a few thousand dollars) and here we are. We're very excited to start on this journey though. It will be interesting to say the least. Everyone here that we've met is so nice and welcoming. The people in our apartments are pretty awesome and I can't wait to get to know everyone better and make some really good friends.

When you guys moved out there...you had a month to "hang out" before school started. That month went fast! Wow! Good luck Jacob! Dr. Jacob...has a good ring to it!
